Live Local 4017 Pet Photography

Here in the 4017, we're a pet loving community indeed! And is there anywhere a better dog beach than our very own Sandgate Off-Leash beach? I don't think so, not when you add great coffee shops and fish n chips to the whole adventure 😁

As a professional Pet Photographer based right here in 4017, some of my favourite photo locations are right here in our local area. The Brighton-Sandgate Foreshore, all the way down to Shorncliffe is a stunning location, and I'm more than a little obsessed with those rising sun shots! I use lighting equipment to achieve their bold colours, and the results are always fantastic.

I also love 3rd Lagoon Peace Park for the way the sunlight dapples its way through the trees in both the morning and the evening. Then there's the beautiful forest setting of 4th Lagoon and the Deagon Wetlands, which I particularly like on the racecourse side for it's little paths, and the way the light works with them.

4017 is a Heritage area, and it would be amiss not to mention the wonderful stand of old trees at Curlew park, which frame a portrait of owner and pet beautifully. Picturesque Einbunpin Lagoon Park holds many possibilities, as does the area around Sandgate's central hub, with it's beautiful old buildings and cosmopolitan feel.

We can always move a little (or more) further afield too! Just over the bridge at Woody Point yields a great photo location, and of course, we don't have to stop there. Brisbane is full of great locations for a photo shoot with your best furbuddy. From pretty suburban parks, beaches and city-scapes, to peaceful forest walks through a variety of forest types, we've got it all.
