General Terms and Conditions

Bookings and Payment:  
50% of the session fee is required to secure the booking, and the balance is payable on the day of the photoshoot. The deposit is non-refundable, however, if circumstances arise that prevent the photoshoot from going ahead on the planned date, the photoshoot can be rescheduled to another date by giving notice to the photographer not less than 24 hours prior to the planned time and date of the photoshoot.  In the event that notice is given less than 24 hours prior to the photoshoot, a rescheduling fee $35 may apply.

The Photoshoot Session:   
The photoshoot session may be held in indoor or outdoor locations in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, QLD, and other locations by request.  The photographer reserves the right to refuse any specific location requests, in particular with respect to safety, practicality or travelling distance.  In the case of travelling distance, the request may be accepted subject to an additional fee.

The photoshoot will be conducted over a period of at least 60 minutes for Session + Artwork and Session + High Resolution Digitals packages, 2 hours for the Ultimate Print + Digitals package, 30 minutes for the Complete Mini package, and multiple 15 minute sessions for the Club Mini package. The photographer may adjust the length of the photoshoot as necessary to obtain a satisfactory number of images.

Safety Considerations:
The client acknowledges that they are aware of and understand the presence of outdoors dangers including but not limited to snakes, ticks, other animals and road traffic. The client agrees to be present during the entire photoshoot, and acknowledges that they are and continue to be responsible for their pets' health and safety during the photoshoot, and the health and safety of all other people and animals that may come in contact with their pets during the photoshoot.

Rescheduling due to adverse weather:
The client understands that adverse weather conditions may require the photoshoot session to be rescheduled to an alternative date, at no additional cost.

Photoproofs:

Following the photoshoot, the photographer will release the photo image proofs or high resolution jpeg images to the client within 14 days, according to the purchased package.

Session plus High Resolution Digital Images: A gallery of 15 edited image proofs

The Ultimate Print + Digitals Collection: A gallery of 15-20 edited image proofs.

Complete Mini Session: Five edited high resolution digital images

Club Mini: three edited high resolution digital images per session

Purchase of Artwork:  
A detailed price list is provided to the client in Appendix A.  The prices detailed in the price list are guaranteed for a period of three months from the date of release of the photoproofs to the client, after which time the photographer reserves the right to alter any or all of the prices.  In the case of photoshoot packages which include an artwork credit, the credit will be applied to the total price of the client's order and the client will pay any balance over and above the credit amount.  The artwork credit must be redeemed within six months from the date of release of the photoproofs to the client.  No refund will be given for any unredeemed artwork credit or portion thereof.   Payment for artwork is payable at the time of order placement.  Once the order has been placed with the printers, it cannot be refunded. 

​Copyright and Use of Image Permissions: 
All images are and remain copyright of the photographer.  Images resulting from the photoshoot may not under any circumstances be edited, altered or cropped in any way. The client is not permitted to reproduce any of the images resulting from the photoshoot, with the exception of cases where the client purchases high resolution digital images with a print licence.   Web-optimised images provided or purchased in addition to an artwork order may be shared on social media platforms, subject to the condition that credit is given to the photographer.

The client grants the photographer unrestricted and irrevocable right and permission to use any photographic images taken as part of the photographer's engagement on the photographer's website, and in other social and marketing media forms including but not limited to Facbook, Instagram and physical promotional materials.
